The ebony mare stepped up to look out to the ocean, trying to see if she could find guidance in her new home. Upon being exiled from her herd, she was left with nowhere to go. This upset her, but then she remembered the ways of her old herd, and she was pleased that she was exiled. No more torture would have to be witnessed by her, and she would never have to be part of it.
Part of her wanted to go back, to help those who were in need, but she knew that if she did, then she would be killed. No, it was out of her hands now, so it was best to leave the situation well alone. There were others that could be helped, and she trusted karma to do it's job. She had seen it's work in the past, and she knew that the pain of the prisoners would be avenged.
Kurenai let the ocean breeze ruffle her mane and allowed it to relax her. She now had to decide what she was going to do. The mare did not feel threatened, so she knew that she had plenty of time to decide. Maybe I should let out a call to see if any others are around...who knows, I may meet someone who has lived here for a long time... she thought to herself, and decided to act upon her own suggestion.
Raising her head high, she let out a loud call, calling for anyone to come and talk to her. Kurenai loved to make friends, and she wanted to start as soon as possible. She listened as the last echoes of her call died out, and continued to stand in the breeze, closing her eyes and just thinking about what her new life would be like, who she would meet, and what adventures she would have.
