Plot/Intro: It was a molten continent, the Marredland. The blood of the planet Kormada spilled from its depths in a continuous fasion, changing the landscape however it pleased. Sometimes a mountain would burn from beneath the ocean waves, giving birth to new earth. The Sector was formed in this way. Still, one must wonder how it gained its uniquely equine borderlines.
Legend told of a wicked Necromancer who had lived in the very deepest part of the ocean surrounding the Marredland. Her alleged communication with those who had passed on to the next world earned her fame across the planet. It is said that her mind darkened after many years of speaking with the dead, and her practices grew blacker than the thickest smoke. This 'black magic,' as some may have called it, allowed her to experiment with those dead whose spirits were less than friendly. When one of her experiments went badly wrong, the Necromancer paid with her life, and it is said that it is her fury which keeps the Sector in its eerie shape; her fury which gives it the name Necromancer Sector; her miscalculations which leave these lands wrought with hate.
Since the time of the Necromancer's death, equines among both the living and the dead have come forth in these lands. Battles are fought in wake of each world's arrival, for neither wishes to relinquish their hold on such a legendary land. There are both good and evil in each, however. The living may battle the living, and the dead may battle the dead. And there are those of the partial-equine races; the winged ones, the horned ones, those who eat meat and those who hardly seem equine at all. Pegasi, unicorns, purrlins, jackals, and rincas. Their battles rage on with the utmost ferocity, good against evil, life against death, race against race, belief against belief. Still, there may be time to find peace; individual clans tend to live in harmony, so long as those who lead them are not so voracious for power or victory. It is, however, up to you to decide who you will become, and what you will do with the powers you alone may possess.
